Committees and sections are the backbone of the Mobile Bar Association. They are the bodies that study and make recommendations to the Board on matters within their jurisdiction. In order for the Board to be able to decide on diverse issues and to elicit opinions from a wide range of the Mobile Bar Association membership, it must reply on committees and sections to lay much of the groundwork for its decision making. Committees and sections provide a forum for group anaylsis, creativity and reasoned recommendations which in turn lead to the development of sound policy decisions by the Board.
